School № 2

In our town there are 14 schools including two lyceums. Here is information about school#2.

Our high school №2 was built in1971. It is situated in Sarband town in the Kirov Street. Our school is two-storied building; also it consists of 3 corpus. The main corpus includes 21 classrooms, and the others 2 corpuses have 12 classrooms.
Earlier in our school there was only one library, when all students were Russian, and now have opened one more library separately for the Tajik classes. Also there is a separate room for the secretary. Besides them our school has a sport hall where pupils spend a lesson of physical training, a dining room on the second floor for elementary grades and have opened buffet where the necessary things is on sale for pupils. And this year our school has changed our dining room to a gym for different meetings.
Our school includes 73 teachers, and about 2015 students. Since 1991 till 1996 the director of our school was Odinaev Said. He did a lot for our school. During his time our school was#8. Now it is number #2. Odinaev Said the former director has good family of 9 children eight girls and one boy. Then in 1996 he had left his duty and Ablyazova Zeboniso Asoevna replaces him. From that time till now Zeboniso Asoevna is our director. She lives near our school on the Kirov Street. She has 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl) in family. Our principle is very active in her work and because of it she got a medal. Now she is a school principle and teacher of Russian language, and Russian Literature. She is strict a little, but all students love and respect her.
There are many success and achievements in our school till now. Our school got many different Cups, Honors and diplomas that we have hanged in the director’s room. Many students receive presidential quotas, every year, for excellence study at school. We proud of them very much. They are,

Among our teachers Murodova Zuhra Tolibovna is very well known for her hardworking work, and leadership and professionalism. She is distinguished teacher. She has much success in her work. She teaches English at school our school for many years. Thanks to our teacher for teaching, helping and supporting us so our students win in Olympiads and international contests like FLEX program. She still teaches her students for studying in the USA. Three of our students were in the USA. Therefore our school is popular for such activities and successes.
In 2003 our volleyball group “Ramashka “was awarded for 3rd place with a Cup and honors.
In 1999 year the pupil by name Yakub had received 1st place on boxing and was awarded the diploma. Such cases occur often. Every year our students getting different awards and honors for good achievements. We have different activities at our school. We have our volleyball team, football team and other sport teams. We celebrate different holidays and everyday on our morning line up our students tell different poems and sometimes show different role plays.
Students trying to be very active and our teachers always support us. We are very thankful to our great teachers for everything. And we are very happy to study at such a wonderful school.
